Dear Families,
Today was a good day!
Today we read about snowflakes. Ask your child about something they learned about snowflakes that they didn't know before!
We wrote two sentences about winter! We are working hard on sentence structure: captials at the beginning, spaces between words, and ending marks. We also wrote about something we are going to do better in the year 2015!
We tapped out words to help us write unknown words.
We also went to library and got new books!
Have a great weekend!
Reminders:
Read daily for 20 minutes to help build fluency and improve comprehension!
The 100th day of school is approaching! Please start thinking about 100 items your child may bring on the 100th day of school. Some ideas are: 100 pennies, 100 cheerios, 100 beads, 100 cotton ball, etc! Be on the look out for this fun activity!
