Dear Families,
Today was a great day celebrating the 100 day of school!
We talked about our 100 day collections and discussed why some collections looked more than others!
Students used 100 cups with friends to build something! They had to use teamwork!
Students had 100 seconds to write as many words as they could! Xianna wrote 19! It was the most!
Students shared their nonfiction stories over topics they researched!
Students wrote numbers to 100! (This was very difficult for some of our kids. Please practice this regularly at home.)
Students drew what they could eat 100 of for fun!
See the pictures attached! 4 are of the cup building and 1 is when they had 100 seconds to write words!
Important Information:
Last week our class worked on a class book about germs. Today I am sending a form and envelope home giving you the opportunity to buy a copy. Please return forms in envelopes next week EVEN if you do not want to buy a book. Just check the box by NO if you do not want a book and return in the envelope!
Once I get these books in I will send them home!
