Dear Families,
Today was a great day!
We've read and wrote about scarecrows all week! Today we used our imagination to write what our scarecrow would do if it came alive! The kids had a lot of fun coming up with ideas like: It played in the leaves! It ran from me!
We went to library! Thank you for helping your child remember library books!
We talked about solving number stories with pockets again. We found out we can solve adding and subtracting problems this way!
We talked about the history of Halloween today. Students shared their ideas on Halloween, talked about how and if they celebrate Halloween, and what their costume will be tonight!
Please have a fun and safe night trick or treating! Some safety tips: never go inside a house alone, don't go anywhere without a grownup, and look both ways when crossing the street!
Please remember to read our November Newsletter by clicking the November Newsletter/Homework tab above. There is a lot of information I want you to be aware of! Thanks so much!
