Class
Celebrations: Everyday our class will have
opportunities to earn Trojan tickets! A Trojan ticket is earned when students

When 5 stars have been earned, our class will vote on a way for us to
celebrate!
Change of
Clothes: Please have a change of clothes for
your child in their back pack everyday. Sometimes they might wait too long
before asking to go to the restroom or they may get dirty on the playground
after a rainy day, so an extra pair of clothes can help out.

know and we can set up a meeting.
Discipline:
In our classroom, I encourage whole classroom discussions about rules and how
we treat others. I emphasize being
respectful, resourceful, and responsible.
Treating others the way you would want to be treated is discussed all
year. Consequences will be given for continued misbehavior such as: verbal
reminders, time in the Safe Seat, Parent note and/or call, and a Behavior
Referral/Discipline Report to Mrs. Zemanek.
E-mail:
In addition to phone calls and notes, I may be reached at the following e-mail
address: kimberly.pandov@jenksps.org.
Email is the best way to reach me!

change. Your child will NOT leave with other adults without written or verbal
notice from the parent.

are still unanswered question, please feel free to call or email me. Again,

Read to your child everyday. This is the best and fastest way to increase your

Fundations is another phonics program that I enjoying using in my instruction.

will have the student go to our Safe Seat for a “time out”. A “Think Sheet”
will be filled out together with the student; it will be sent home to be signed
and returned to me the following day.
Show and Tell:
When it is your child’s turn to be
“Trojan of the Week”, they will be allowed to make a “show and tell” bag!
Inside 3-5 small items that are special to your child will go in their bag. If
an item does not fit in the bag, please find a smaller item! I will send home a
reminder the week before it is your child’s turn.
Snacks: We have snack time everyday. Please send a healthy snack for your child
that is individually packaged, in a Ziploc bag, a Tupperware container. Please
nothing containing peanuts.
Transportation:
Please let the office and myself know if there is a change in
the way your child gets to school or comes home from school. Please do not tell
your child to tell us…most of the time this is very confusing and the
child gets upset because they can’t remember exactly what you told them!
Trojan of the
Week: I will send home a reminder the week
before it is your child’s turn to be Trojan of the Week. During that week, your child will get to
bring a “Show and Tell” bag and a poster about themselves with pictures of
their family, pets, things they like to do, etc.
